Design Concept: Cog in the (time) machine

• To create something timeless.

• Combine fashions from periods throughout time.

• To create designs with a feeling of being futuristic.

Exercise: I wanted to make two sets of designs, one for a small intimate theater, and one for a large theater. I did this so I could understand differences in designing for those respective spaces.

• I choose to use more detail in my designs for a small theater.

• I choose to use color blocking in my designs for a large theater.
